Patterns for this set of eight ceramic tiles were drawn directly from satellite imagery of large highway interchanges from around the world. Interchanges which are expensive public works projects have a complex beauty equal to the buildings and public sites usually remembered with souvenirs.
Interchanges included are from: Tokyo, Las Vegas, Niteroi, Barcelona, Birmingham, Vienna, Prague and Istanbul.
